(OTSEGO) - In a hard fought battle the Sturgis girls basketball team fell on the road to Otsego 43-39 in a Wolverine Conference match up. Sturgis coach Andy Phillips says it was a tough loss for the team, as they played their hearts out, but Otsego controlled the tempo and hit some free throws down the stretch. Angela Cary led Sturgis with 16 points and Cora Phillips had 13 points. Sturgis is now 9-2 overall and 6-2 in the Wolverine Conference.
