(HUDSON) – After a back and forth first half, host Hudson pulled away in the final two quarters as the No. 1 Tigers beat White Pigeon 50-20 in their Division 8 District Title game. The Chiefs were held to 197 total yards, with 142 of them on the ground and 55 through the air. Taylor Stewart had 12 carries for 22 yards and 2 touchdowns for White Pigeon. Ty Strawser was 2 for 3 passing for 55 yards and a touchdown. Brody Block had both receptions for 55 yards and a score. Stewart led the defense with 14 tackles. Maddix Jancasz and Hunter Pant each had 12 tackles. White Pigeon ends the season at 8-3. Hudson is now 11-0, and will host No. 4 Springport in a Regional Championship game, after Springport beat New Lothrop 35-13.
