Two late scores help No. 9 Hanover-Horton beat Bronson 20-12
(HANOVER) – Two scores with under two minutes left in regulation helped No. 9 Hanover-Horton beat Bronson 20-12 in their Division 7 District Championship game. After an interception returned for a touchdown gave the host Comets the early lead, Bronson’s defense played lights out for a majority of the contest. Bronson scored to tied the game before halftime, then took the lead on their first possession of the third quarter. But another interception returned for a score and a miraculous touchdown pass gave Hanover the lead and the win. On the night Bronson outgained the Comets 271-112. Spencer Losinski was 13 for 28 for 158 yards and a touchdown along with 4 interceptions. Aiden Whittaker had 9 carries for 45 yards along with 4 catches for 24 yards and two big kickoff returns for 51 yards on the night. Caleb Harvey had 8 tackles to lead the defense as Bronson ends the season at 8-3. Hanover-Horton is now 9-2 and will play host to Schoolcraft in a Division 7 Regional Championship game.
