(STURGIS) - The Sturgis boys basketball team had trouble matching the physical play of Coldwater, as the visiting Cardinals beat the host Trojans on Senior Night 51-36 in non conference action. Fernando Villasan led the Trojans with 11 points. Gavin Lewis had 9 points while Owen Frost and Wyatt Miller each had 6 points. Coldwater got a game high 14 points from Owen Tappenden and 13 points from Gavin Taylor. Sturgis falls to 8-12 n the season while Coldwater is now 10-10.
