(LAGRANGE) - LaGrange County Department of Parks and Recreation has received a $10,000 grant from Dekko Foundation.
The money will be used to help with expenses of making improvements to the Dallas Lake playground. This project is part of a bigger effort that will improve the recreational area of the park, that will also include building two new pickleball courts.
Parks Department officials say the Dekko Foundation will also give an additional grant by matching dollar for dollar that is donated towards the project up to $5,000.
