(THREE RIVERS) - The Bronson softball team went 2-1 at the Three Rivers "Merry Jo Tavernier" Memorial Tournament. The Lady Vikings lost to Portage Central 6-1, then beat Pennfield 14-0 and got a win over Allen Park 6-4. Ashlynn Harris took the loss in game one and then picked up the win in game three. On the day she went 11-2/3 innings, giving up 4 runs with 9 strikeouts. Madison Shaw was the winning pitcher in game two, going 5 innings without giving up a run with 10 strikeouts. At the plate, Lydia Wells and Delanee Carpenter each drove in two runs. Harper Ratkowski also had an RBI as Bronson improves to 5-1 on the season.
