(STURGIS) - Sturgis Public Schools says a community survey is now available to residents of the District.
During last night's meeting, the Sturgis Board of Education approved the questions that will be presented to the community. The questions are designed to get community information and feedback on the May millage so school leaders can use the information for upcoming projects. Also, if the District should bring a millage request in the future, the questions can better inform school leaders what the community would like and possibly support.
Finance Director Ray Sterling says there will be four ways for the public to take the survey. Through the QR code on the School's newsletter; through the School website; at the Sturgis District Library; and by calling the Sturgis School's District Office to get a paper copy. (LISTEN ABOVE)
The survey will also be translated to Spanish.
The survey will be available through August 31. The results will be collected and then shared publicly in September.
