Sturgis volleyball loses match to Niles

(NILES) - The Sturgis volleyball team traveled to Niles and lost to the Lady Vikings 3-0 (16-25, 17-25, 11-25) in Wolverine Conference action. Cora Phillips had 9 kills and 3 digs for Sturgis. Siana Arreola had 10 assists and 3 digs. Kendall Oxender added 7 kills and 5 digs while Madelyn Oswald had 5 kills and 4 digs. Sturgis isnow 1-5 and 0-3 in the Wolverine Conference.
