Sturgis falls to host Niles 48-20

(NILES) - The Sturgis football team traveled to Niles and fell to the Vikings 48-20 in Wolverine Conference play. Liam McKinley was 15 of 21 for 165 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Darren Speelman had 10 catches for 147 yards and 2 TD's. Beckett Lamb led the defense with 18 tackles while brother Hudson Lamb had 9 stops. Sturgis falls to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the Wolverine. Niles is 2-3 and 2-1 in the Conference.
