Sturgis girls swim team beats Marshall

(MARSHALL) - The Sturgis girls swim team traveled to Marshall and beat the Lady Red Hawks 93-75. Ainsley Gump was first in the 200 IM and set a new Marshall pool record in a time of 2:13.63. She was also first in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:12.73. Gump was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team with Brooklyn Draper, Lilly Whitehead and Katelyn Halling, as they earned their MISCA cut in a time of 2:01.00. Sydney Herblet was first in the 200 freestyle, Katelyn Halling won the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle and Brooklyn Draper was first in the 100 backstroke.
