Change made in leadership for Glen Oaks men’s basketball

(CENTREVILLE) - Glen Oaks Community College has made a leadership change pertaining to the head coaching position in it's men's basketball program heading into the 2026-2027 season. The College thanks Sam Waniewski for his efforts last season in what was a transitional season for the Vikings. Athletic Director Devin Wilburn and Danielle Stone will be overseeing the program while the college searches for an interim head coach. Glen Oaks says they are excited about this year's roster and the players are eager to compete as the season approaches. Wilburn says the focus remains on supporting the student-athletes and preparing them for the upcoming season.
