(COLDWATER) - The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is offering flu vaccine clinics.
Flu vaccines will be available at the Coldwater CHA office on October 23 from 8 AM until 4 PM. There will also be flu vaccines given at the Sturgis CHA office on October 26 from 8 AM until 4 PM.
Then on November 3, flu vaccines will be available at the Three Rivers CHA office from 10 AM until 6 PM. Then on November 5, flu vaccines will be given at the CHA office in Hillsdale from 8 AM until 4 PM.
Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome. Please remember to bring your ID and insurance cards with you.
Heidi Hazel, Personal Health and Disease Prevention Director for the CHA says while no vaccine is 100% effective at preventing illness, vaccines decrease the potential for serious illness, hospitalization and death. She says the current vaccine has been designed to provide protection from the currently circulating variants.
Flu vaccines are recommended for individuals aged 6 months and older. High dose influenza vaccine is recommended for those 65 years and older.
