(COMSTOCK) - The Sturgis wrestling team went 5-0 on the day and won the Comstock Horseshoe Classic. The Trojans beat River Valley 78-6, B.C. Lakeview 70-11, host Comstock 72-12, B.C. Central 63-18 and Hopkins 35-32. Coach Brad Barkby says his team battled hard and wants to give a special recognition to freshman Richie Scott for showing veteran experience and selflessness. Going 5-0 on the day were Jouse Galvan, Cooper Barkby, Easton Barkby, Jacob Lewis, Alex Valdez and Ayden Hamilton. Posting 4-1 records were Richie Scott, Dechlan Fieberkorn, and Liam McKinley.
