(INDIANAPOLIS) – Two LaGrange County projects received funding in the latest round of Lake and River Enhancement Fund grants.
Pretty Lake is getting $36,000 for watershed stabilization. Lake Of The Woods will get $16,800 for shoreline stabilization design and build.
Other area projects that received funding include Turkey Creek in Noble County, getting $80,000 for watershed stabilization; Lake James in Steuben County will received $25,000 for shoreline stabilization and Clear Lake in Steuben County is getting $68,000 for design and build on a
two stage ditch and wetland.
All projects must be completed within two years.
Funds for the LARE Grants come from boater registration fees.
