Ellingson says that one of the associate teachers has their Master's Degree in Early Childhood; one has her Associates Degree, 4 with their CDA's and one working towards her CDA.
This year there are six GSRP classrooms; four of them at Jerolene School and two at the Sturgis Central Commons. All total there are 94 students in the GSRP Classes.
GSRP is for four year olds. Ellingson says what they do in the classrooms is different than what people think happens with pre-school students. LINKD.
Some of the objectives are creativity; literacy; leadership; emotional development along with community outreach and involvement.
