(PENN TOWNSHIP) – Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash over the weekend in Cass County's Penn Township.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says just after 6:30 PM Sunday, 27 year old Richard Partridge of Cassopolis was attempting to turn south onto Decatur Road from Quaker Street. Partridge failed to yield the right of way to a northbound vehicle driven by 69 year old Harold Laird of Kalamazoo.
Partridge was not injured in the crash. Laird and his passenger, 19 year old Alexandria Lynch of Midland, sustained minor injuries, and were taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
Deputies say all three individuals were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision. Assisting at the scene was the Cass County Road Commission and Pride Care Ambulance.
