(BRISTOL) – A plane crash in Northern Indiana killed two people who were on board.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office say they were notified of the crash at 2:20 PM Tuesday near Bristol. Deputies say they found out that the plane flew from Elkhart County to the Coldwater Airport, landing at 12:22 PM. The plane then left Coldwater at 1:40 PM and crashed near the Indiana Toll Road close to Bristol.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are now handling the investigation.
Authorities have not released the names of the individuals who were killed. However, WNDU TV is reporting that family members told them one of the victims is Wendell Ridenour of Elkhart.
