(THREE RIVERS) – The Three Rivers City Commission has moved up the starting time of their meetings.
Three Rivers City Manager Joe Bippus says the Commission will be starting their meetings at 5 PM, which is an hour earlier than what they have been meeting. The new starting time will begin with their April 15 meeting.
One of the reasons for the move in starting time, according to Bippus, is to accommodate City Staff whose workdays end at 4:30 PM. If they are needed to be at a City Commission meeting, they have a 90 minute wait from the time they finish work until their meeting starts.
The Three Rivers City Commission meets the first and third Tuesday of every month. Bippus says the Commissioners may revisit the starting time of their meetings in the Fall.
