(CENTREVILLE) – A suspect has been arraigned in connection with a May 3 shooting in Constantine.
St. Joseph County District Court officials say that 22 year old Leonardo Hernandez of Constantine was arraigned on two counts each of assault with intent to murder and felony weapons firearm.
Hernandez was arrested shortly after an incident that happened May 3 at 11:50 PM at the Harvey House in Constantine.
Centreville-Constantine Police Chief Dan Thayer says that three people were shot, while a fourth individual broke their leg after jumping from a second story deck while trying to get away from the situation.
One of the shooting victims is in critical condition, while the other two received non life-threatening injuries.
Hernandez is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail. He is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on May 20.
