(ANGOLA) - After years of legal delays, a traffic roundabout will be built in at the corner of County Road 100 North and County Road 200 West in Angola. The roundabout has been planned since 2018, but legal issues concerning one of the properties involved stalled the plan. Steuben County Highway Engineer Chip Porter told County Commissioners that traffic roundabouts are safer and more efficient than stop lights or four-way stops. Demolition work on the existing properties started this week. The roundabout will be built in 2026.
