(GARRETT) – Host Garrett won the 2025 NECC Wrestling Tournament with 246 points. Angola was second (162), followed by Eastside in third (156.5), Prairie Heights fourth (152.5), West Noble fifth (119); Central Noble sixth (113.5); Fairfield was seventh (106); Lakeland finished eighth (93.5) while Fremont was ninth (39.5), Churubusco was tenth (20) and Westview 11th (6). Lakeland’s Qwenell Gabriel was champion at 120. Teammates Zach Brown was second at 126 while Quinten Kjendalen was second at 132 and Patrick Watkins was second at 138. Prairie Heights had two champions on the day. Brody Hagewood won the 144 pound title and Brock Hagewood was champion at 157.
