(PORTAGE) – The Sturgis girls tennis team started the 2025 season with a non conference win, beating host Portage Northern 8-0. Sturgis coach Andy Phillips says his team had great matches at No. 2 Doubles with Bella Currier and Ariana Terwedo winning 3-6, 6-1 (10-6) and at No. 3 Doubles as Mazie Sterling and Marlee Smith won 6-4, 3-6 (10-5).
