(EAST JACKSON) – The Centreville boys track team tied with Hanover Horton for third place at the Division 3 Regional meet at East Jackson. Deandre Stout was Regional Champion in the 100 meters and the 200 meters and will advance to the State Finals in both events. Matthew Bates was Regional Champion in the shot put and second in the discus and will participate in both events at the State Finals. Ethan Miller was an earlier qualifier for the State Finals in the 400 meters. Also going to the State Finals will be the 400 meter relay team, made up of Bates, Stout, Dylan Schwartz and Carter Cartier, who finished second. The 1600 meter relay team of Oliver Mildenberg, Brendan Sre, Brayden Swanwick and Micaiah Sylvester finished sixth and will advance to the State Finals. Also advancing to the Finals with a sixth place finish is the 3200 meter relay team of Mildenberg, Sylvester, Henry Sloat and will Hulin.
