Constantine boys and girls 6th at D-3 Track Regionals

(EAST JACKSON) – The Constantine boys track team finished in sixth place at the Division 3 Regional at at East Jackson. The 3200 meter relay team of Alessandro Avila, Aaron Hofmeister, Bear Geibe and Robbie King were Regional Champions and move on to the D-3 State Finals. The 1600 meter relay team of Geibe, King, Brody Jones and Logan Patmalnieks finished fourth and also move on the State Finals. Geibe was third in the 800 meters and will move on to the State Finals, as will Brandon Long who was second in the shot put, and Jones who took third in the pole vault. In the girls portion of the Division 3 track Regional at East Jackson, Constantine came in sixth on the day. The 1600 meter relay team of Jaedyn Herlein, Abigail Flores, Kailee Jones and Kaitlyn Jones won a Regional Championship and set a new school record in a time of 4:11.05 to move on to the State Finals. Kaitlyn Jones was Regional Champ in the 400 meters and also moves on to the State finals. Jaedyn Herlein was second in the 100 meters and the 300 meter hurdles, and will go on to the State Finals. Kailee Jones was second in the 800 meters, and will move on to the State Finals. Also advancing to the State Finals is the 800 meter relay team of Flores, Herlein, Kaitlyn Jones and Kailee Jones, who finishes second.
