(LIVONIA) – The No. 1 ranked Mendon volleyball team traveled to Schoolcraft College in Livonia for the D3/D4 showdown and went 3-2 on the day in the Gold Division. In pool play, the Lady Hornets lost to Grass Lake, then beat Montrose and Cass City. In bracket play, Mendon beat No. 5 in Division 3 Pewamo-Westphalia and then lost to No. 3 in Division 3 Plymouth Christian (2—0) in the semi-finals. Gracie Schultz had 38 kills and 37 digs for the Lady Hornets. Kayrssa Holtz had 74 assists and 20 digs while Cienna Nightingale had 27 kills and 28 digs. Jadyn Samson added 56 digs and 13 assists.
