(BATTLE CREEK) – In a Saturday afternoon game, the No. 2 ranked Mendon football team beat host B.C. St. Philip 62-0 in an SCAA Red Division 8-Man game. The Hornets rushed for 332 yards and had 386 yards total offense, holding the Fighting Tigers to 40 yards. Owen Gorham finished with 4 carries for 141 yards and 4 TD. JT Lux had 4 carries for 32 yards and 2TD’s while Ryder Gorham had 2 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown. Tristen Wood had 7 tackles and an interception that he returned for a touchdown. Mendon is now 7-0 and 4-0 in the SCAA Red Division. BC St. Philip falls to 0-7 and 0-4.
