(GARRETT) – Authorities have identified the man who drowned over the weekend in DeKalb County
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources say the victim is 30 year old Ahmad Sediq Safi of Fort Wayne.
At 1:24 PM Sunday, first responders were called to the 900 block of County Road 64 and a private lake at Indian Springs Campground. They were told a 30 year old man was swimming and started to struggle, and then went under the water and never resurfaced.
SCUBA divers from the Steuben County Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team were able to locate Safi just after 3 PM.
