(CENTREVILLE) – Glen Oaks Community College has found a new Athletic Director.
School officials say Devin Wilburn has been hired as the new Director of Athletics. Wilburn, who brings a strong background in both high school and collegiate coaching, joined Glen Oaks on Monday, August 27.
Wilburn's experience includes coaching roles at Taylor University and Ball State University, where he developed programs and mentored student-athletes across various sports. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in sports administration from Ball State University.
Wilburn will be relocating from Muncie, Indiana, along with his family. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of Glen Oaks’ athletic programs, including recruitment, coaching support, athletic compliance, and student-athlete development.
Wilburn says he is honored to be joining Glen Oaks at such an exciting time. He says the college has a strong tradition of student success, and he looks forward to working with the coaches, staff, and student-athletes to build on that foundation and continue growing Viking athletics.
