(MILTON TOWNSHIP) – Three people were injured Friday in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Redfield Street and Gumwood Road in Milton Township.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says at 7:30 AM, 23 year old Brian Miller of Kentucky was driving north on Gumwood Road and failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle, driven by 43 year old Steven Natelborg of Niles, and the automobiles collided.
Miller's passengers, 1 year old Grayson Miller and 21 year old Gracie Cartwricght, were taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland Niles Hospital to be evaluated. Natelborg was treated and released at the scene.
Everyone was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Michigan state Police, the Niles Township Fire Department and SMCAS Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
