(UNDATED) – A Shipshewana man was injured and given a ticket following a one vehicle accident.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, 43 year old Johnathan Oliver was driving east on State Road 120 just west of County Road 29 at 8:30 Tuesday morning. Investigators say he fell asleep and drove off the south side of the road and into a ditch.
Oliver was taken by ambulance to Goshen Hospital, complaining of neck pain. He was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility.
