(INDIANAPOLIS) – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will finally be able to hold an inauguration ceremony.

It comes seven months after being elected to his second term in office. The event had been postponed due to COVID-19.

The “boots and black tie” inaugural ball will be held on Saturday, August 21 at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis. A concert featuring county music stars Big & Rich will be held two days earlier, at the TCU Amphitheater, at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis.

The series of events will be a part of the inauguration festivities to celebrate Governor Holcomb and Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch being re-elected.
