(LAGRANGE) – LaGrange County is in the process of updating their comprehensive plan, and they are asking for citizen input.
The process, called LaGrange County Together, is a partnership between the LaGrange County Community Foundation and the LaGrange County Plan Commission. It was launched in April 2021 and will last 16 months with several rounds of community engagement.
Octavia Yoder, Executive Director of the LaGrange County Community Foundation, explains how this process started. LINKC.
Yoder says a lot of projects and ideas were talked about at that time, but the question was how does the county work with all of the communities to get some if not all of the projects done.
Tyler Young, President of the LaGrange County Plan Commission shares what some of the topics the comprehensive plan will cover. LINKD.
The next Listen, Learn and Launch event is scheduled for today from 4 until 7 PM at the LaGrange Fairgrounds Community Building. This is a come and go event.
