(LAGRANGE) – More open houses are being held this week to help LaGrange County update their comprehensive plan.
The process, called LaGrange County Together, is a partnership between the LaGrange County Community Foundation and the LaGrange County Plan Commission. It was launched in April 2021 and will last 16 months with several rounds of community engagement.
The comprehensive plan will cover such topics as roads, infrastructure, zoning and how to use county land.
The next Listen, Learn and Launch event is scheduled for today from 4 until 7 PM at the Topeka Fire Station. This is a come and go event. If you can't attend the Monday session, you can come to the Wolfe Community Building in Shipshewana on Tuesday, and then Wednesday at Prairie Heights High School.
