(PENN TOWNSHIP) – A one vehicle crash in Cass County's Penn Township injured the driver.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 20 year old Wyatt Webb of Battle Creek was driving to work on Decatur Road, north of Shurte Street just before 6 AM Friday when he fell asleep behind the wheel, and crashed his vehicle.
Webb was taken to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Deputies say Webb was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, and the airbags in the vehicle did activate.
Assisting deputies were the Penn Township Fire Department and Pride Care Ambulance.
