(QUINCY TOWNSHIP) – One person is in critical condition and two horses are dead following a hit and run crash in Branch County's Quincy Township.
Michigan State Police say the incident happened around 7:30 PM Monday in the 600 block of North Briggs Road. A northbound vehicle was passing two pedestrians with two horses. A vehicle that was heading south crossed over the center line, striking the northbound vehicle and the two horses. The suspect vehicle then left the scene.
Speed and alcohol are assumed to be contributing factors in this incident.
