(UNDATED) – A Constantine man received minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 44 year old Michael Gustin of Angola was driving north on State Road 19 just after 10:30 Friday night and struck 51 year old Kevin Burbank of Constantine, who was walking north on State Road 19. There was heavy fog at the time of the incident.
Burbank was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of arm pain. He told deputies he was suicidal, and was committed for a 24 hour evaluation.
Gustin was not injured in the incident.
