(BUTLER TOWNSHIP) – A weekend rollover accident sent a Coldwater woman to the hospital.
According to the Branch County Sheriff's Department, 76 year old Donna Michalski of Coldwater lost control of her vehicle at the intersection of Jonesville and Clarendon Roads in Butler Township at 12:50 PM Sunday. Her automobile went off the road, into a ditch and then flipped end over end before stopping.
Michalski was trapped in her vehicle and was removed by Sheriff's Deputies along with the Quincy Fire Department. She was then transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital by Life Care Ambulance.
Deputies say Michalski was wearing her safety belt at the time of the accident and airbags in the vehicle did activate.
