
(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) – Three people are being held on various charges after a house was searched.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted a search Wednesday on a residence in the 1300 block of Zilke Road in Howard Township. The warrant had been issued on suspicion that illegal drugs were being sold and used at
the house.
During the search detectives along with K-9 officer Tolle detained five individuals, and found meth, meth paraphernalia, evidence of meth sales, and firearms.
A 58 year old man was arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and felony firearms. A 38 year old woman was arrested for possession of meth. A 39 year old man was arrested for having outstanding warrants.
The suspect’s names are being withheld pending arraignment in Cass County District Court.
Assisting at the scene were the Cass County Warrant Service Team, Cass County Felony Detectives, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the Dowagiac Police Department, and the Pokagon Tribal Police.
