(COLDWATER) – An area health organization is working to be able to give COVID-19 vaccines to kids very soon.
The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is currently completing the plan to provide COVID-19 vaccinations with Pfizer and Moderna authorized mRNA vaccines to children 6 months to 5 years of age.
CHA Health Officer Rebecca Burns says the agency must complete the required training and documentation for their clinical staff and the administrative tasks required to begin the vaccination program for this age group. Burns says the agency will provide additional information in the coming days through the media, their website and social media platforms.
