CASS COUNTY – An Alzheimer's patient was located Thursday evening by the Cass County Sheriff Office with a K9 unit.
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reported at approximately 6 p.m. his office responded to a call about a missing 72-year-old
The incident took place at the 16000 block of Hoffman Rd in Penn Township.
Deputies arrived at the scene and determined after speaking with family members the missing woman went on a walk and had not been seen for over an hour.
Cass County Sheriff K9 "Neera" tracked and located the woman who was found a short distance behind the residence on the edge of a large field.
She was evaluated by Pride Care Ambulance for heat exhaustion.
