(MASON TOWNSHIP) – An Indiana woman was injured in a one vehicle crash in Southwest Michigan.

Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke says his deputies were called to a personal injury accident at 5:30 Monday morning. Officers determined that 47 year old Devine Stoner of South Bend was driving east on Grange Street in Mason Township, when she struck a large tree in the roadway.

Stoner was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. She was initially treated at the scene by the Porter Fire and Ambulance, and then transported to an Elkhart area hospital for further treatment of her injuries.
