(STURGIS) - The City of Sturgis has announced they will be closing the North Franks Avenue Extension access road on November 23.
The access road runs from East Lafayette Street to the Doyle Community Center and was opened as temporary access and not designed for use in winter months. The City will re-evaluate opening this access road based on construction projects and the condition of the road in the spring.
The construction of North Franks Avenue to East Lafayette Street as a permanent road is currently in the design phase and planned for construction in the 2024 season.
