(STURGIS) – It was a slow start between the Sturgis and Three Rivers girls basketball teams. But the Lady Wildcats found their shooting touch, and converted turnovers into east points as they beat the host Lady Trojans 56-31 in a Wolverine Conference contest. Riley Eicher had 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals for Sturgis. Emily Schuller had 5 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks while Keyanna O’Tey added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Allie McGlothlen had a season best 21 points for Three Rivers. Gabby Charvat had 16 points and Dani Glass had 8. Sturgis is now 2-11 on the season while Three Rivers is 6-4.
