(STURGIS) – The Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education approved purchasing two new buses for the 2023-2024 school year.
During a special meeting Monday night, Sturgis Schools Finance Director Ray Sterling presented the Board with the two bus options. LINKC.
The cost for the two buses would be $249,760. Sterling says the reason for purchasing them now is on February 17 the new rates would go into effect and the buses would cost the District more money.
The Sturgis Board of Education approved buying the buses by a unanimous vote.
