(MENDON) – It was a hard fought game that saw host Mendon come away with a 36-31 girls basketball win over Centreville in Southwest 10 action. Jadyn Samson led the Lady Hornets with 13 points, 2 assists and 2 steals. Cienna Nightingale added 8 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks while Makennah Mullin had 7 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks. Centreville got 16 points, 3 assists and 3 steals from Faith Edwards. Kendalynn Bernheisel added 6 points while Mara Webb had 5 points and 4 rebounds. Mendon improves to 15-4 while Centreville is 8-10.
