(LAGRANGE) – Two adults and two children were injured in a three vehicle crash.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department says 18 year old Andrya Marshall of Wolcottville was driving east on U.S. 20 just after 10:30 Monday morning and told deputies she took her eyes off the road for a short amount of time. When she looked at the road, again, she saw a vehicle that was stopped in the road way, and she struck the back of it. The second vehicle was then pushed into the westbound lane and struck a third vehicle.
The driver of the second auto, 28 year old Kody Faulkner of Wolcottville, says he had stopped in front of Riverside RV and was waiting for the westbound traffic to clear so he could turn in when he was struck. He was pushed into the back driver’s side of a vehicle heading west, driven by 36 year old Mark Bontrager of Hudson.
Marshall and two children in her vehicle, 8 month old Rylan Crittendon and 3 year old Kayden Gromaski, both of Wolcottville, were all taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Faulkner was also taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital. Bontrager was not injured.
The LaGrange Police Department and LaGrange Fire Rescue assisted at the scene.
