(FABIUS TOWNSHIP) – Authorities have released the name of a teen that died after being struck by a vehicle in Fabius Township.
St. Joseph County Undersheriff Jason Bingaman says the teen has been identified as 16 year old Emma Jean Thomas of Three Rivers.
Sheriff’s deputies were sent to U.S. 131 near Broadway Road just before 10:30 PM Monday for a car vs pedestrian accident. They determined that Emma had been struck by a vehicle and succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
