(STURGIS) – The City of Sturgis didn’t have to look far to find the next Executive Director for the Sturges-Young Center For The Arts.
Sturgis City Manager Andrew Kuk says they have hired Jamie Eymer to be the Executive Director, effective September 25. She joined the Center as Event Coordinator in June 2022. Kuk says she brings experience in marketing, sales, hospitality and event rentals to the Center For The Arts, and she is looking forward for filling the spaces at the Center with more rentals and hosted events, especially the upcoming Performance Series.
Jamie was born and raised in Northern Indiana. She graduated in 2013 from Manchester University, obtaining a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree in Marketing. Since graduating she has held positions with various companies all in the realm of event coordinating, hospitality, and customer service.
Jamie’s passion is customer service and relationship building with clients. She currently resides in LaGrange, Indiana, and when Jamie is out of “work mode” she can be found enjoying “mom-mode” by spending time with her family.
