(THREE RIVERS) – Former St. Joseph County Prosecutor John McDonough is once again serving the public.
During a recent special meeting of the Three Rivers Board of Education, the Board voted unanimously to appoint McDonough to a vacant seat. The seat had been held by Ben Karle before he stepped down in January.
McDonough was chosen for the Board seat over four other applicants: Amanda Allen, Anthony Meyaard, Sam Smallcombe and Tiffany Larson.
McDonough was sworn in following the vote. He will finish Karle’s term on the Board of Education, which runs until December 31, 2024. It will be up for vote in the November 2024 election.
