(CLIMAX) – The Colon girls basketball team picked up their second win in as many nights as the No. 2 Lady Magi beat host Climax-Scotts 58-34 in SCAA play. Colon coach Beth Preston says her team came out of the gate, moving the ball well, and knocking down shots to jump out to a comfortable lead. Reese Williams led the way for the Lady Magi with 21 points, 4 assists and 7 steals. Megann Mullins added 10 points while Kelsey Burgess and Allison Vinson each had 7 points. Colon is now 14-1 overall and 9-0 in the SCAA.
